    Personally I never install it, tried it once and thought it was a waste of time and just added more bloat to NVIDIA drivers. However there are plenty on this forum that do use it.

    My thoughts exactly. Just extract the drivers via 7zip and customize your installation. GFE seems like a joke.

    Primarily people use it for Shadowplay which is pretty good for recording and leaves a small footprint in encoding. Their "optimization" utility is not great, but using it to reference and get information on various graphics options can be very useful for users who are not that knowledgable with them. It's also good and easy to use with driver installations. Purist and enthusiasts should probably avoid it though. It's good to have options

    I use Geforce Experience a few of the features, not all of them, but always installed it ever since it first released on all the systems
