Usually I go to Nvidia and download the package and then install it. The package is still not available there but suddenly Geforce Experience wanted to do an update. I let it update and then it told me the new driver video driver. It downloaded it and I then choose custom install. That install failed twice. Then I choose express install, that worked. Of course I got the 3D stuff which I don't need or want.
The older you get the less you like change especially if it is not an improvement.
Weird. After installing today's cumulative update for 1703, Windows Update installed Nvidia driver version 382.36, dated May 19th.
I'll echo DooGie as my scenario is the same as his. I just installed the Windows update and still have 382.33.
Very weird. Maybe Windows is trying to figure out your 1080TI SLI setup and installed some unreleased "Quadro" driver. Guess you don't have GFE installed. Wonder what it would do - tell you "we have an older driver that has to be installed"???
I'll post over on the GeForce forums and see if I can find out any info about it.
