Maybe it will have another "16% performance improvement" this time based on a comparison of drivers and cards released in the 1980's.

    Sorry. Couldn't help myself.

Nar, they just invert the algorithms governments use when compiling jobless claims reports(making numbers higher, instead of lower)

Whenever I see Nvidia marketing at work, I always think of Huang 's presentation on the 1080 release. Oh, look 65-67 degrees at 2114MHZ, easy!

AIB partners had to listen to complaint after complaint and experience RMA's from their customers after realizing in real world scenarios those clocks are typically rare.

I know what you are saying but AMD are the same :)

All I was doing was giving the heads up for a new NVIDIA driver release next week. Since my daughter has ordered me Mass Effect Andromeda as a birthday present I'll give the new driver a try.

No explanation required, DooGie. The heads up is appreciated. And I'm a believer in using the manufacturer's latest driver as long as it causes no specific issues. None of Nvidia's drivers have caused me issues. Look at my Time Spy and Firestrike graphic scores. And games run fine. All the new drivers - not bad for this OLD EVGA 1080 FTW ACX card with no voltage adjustment.

The Nvidia marketing, and yes I'm sure AMD as well, that's another thing.:)
