Windows 10: Latest NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Drivers for Windows 10
But DDU was working with no issues before. I just tried 126.96.36.199 and same thing. It boots into safe mode, cleans the old driver and when it reboots into normal mode, (with supposedly Windows updates blocked), as soon as it hits the desktop Windows installs a driver before I can manually install the latest driver. The driver Windows installs is 372.90.
It appears that a new GeForce hotfix driver v375.76 has been released today but it's not showing in the Nvidia advanced search.
The only link I've seen is this so treat with caution. GeForce Hot Fix driver version 375.76 | NVIDIA

Thank you DooGie. First post updated.
Think I will pass on this one...I'll let you guys play.
Thanks for the quote Mike it made me notice that my post was garbage in the middle of it. Now corrected.
I'll install later tonight
Install of 375.76 was uneventful and so far every thing seems fine.
Now for a few hours of gaming as that is my true test of stability.
I just don't see any need fer it. Thats all.
Got my new drivers couple of days ago ... all seams OK
I've installed it and see how it goes. It isn't WHQL though. UAC reared it's little head during install.

I went to the NVidia site, but all the drivers that show are for Linux. I tried searching for Windows, but none turned up.
This is for an HP dv9700 laptop PC that's over five years old.
Anyone got an URL for the proper site?
After installing Windows 10 Home on 2 computers, I have found that the graphics drivers are having trouble updating.
Can someone assist me on fixing this?
Will check back in the morning.
I just completed a dirty install of Win10 (10074) on top of Win8.1. I would have done a clean install but I was hoping not to have to reinstall all my Steam content. Looks like I'm going to have to do a clean install to solve this, but on the off...
anyone have a good driver for this slightly older vista-era laptop?
the machine is a HP DV9917CL.
I have it running with the old HP vista 64 driver. it works pretty good but I get some flashes and blackouts on certain aero functions .
