    Hello all,
One of my computers I plan to upgrade with Win 10 has an Nivida 570GTX. I see win 10 drivers for 600 and up but it looks like nothing for 500 and lower.
Does anyone know if Nvidia will continue to release win 10 drivers for some of the lower gpus? Has anyone had luck using a win8.1 driver in Windows 10?

I found the answer to part of my own question about Nvidia drivers. It looks like Nvidia will be releasing win 10 drivers for the 500 series GPU cards but, at a later date. The Fermi or 500 series was the first to support DirectX 12. If you have anything less then no such luck on win 10 drivers from Nvidia. Here is the link I got the info from if anyone is interested.

I'm not sure if older cards will work with 8.1 drivers in Windows 10. Maybe else someone could answer that.

I have Geforce 460 and I had to install driver 344.11 to get build 10130 to work. The latest driver wouldn't install on my system. Geforce 400 is not that old imo...

My laptop has a Geforce 310m video card and the laptop runs fine with Windows 10. If I want to have the latest driver for that video card I may have to go back to Windows 8.1, install the video driver and then upgrade to Windows 10. I don't think I'll bother, nothing I do with that laptop requires a new video driver.

I'm glad to hear that you both found drivers that work. That puts my mide at ease. I really didn't want to buy a new card for an older computer.:)

Geforce experience keeps downloading and installing the latest driver but it never works. Once I restart it begins again. In device manager there is the yellow icon on the video card. Please what can i do?

Hello Seun, and welcome to Ten Forums.

If you like, you can uninstall "NVIDIA GeForce Experience" in Programs and Features. It's only the automatic update feature.

You can just manually download and install the latest version of the NVIDIA video driver instead from the 1st page. :)

Thanks but I uninstalled the driver but the one I downloaded also came with the geforce experience. No matter what I do it doesn't install the driver. It runs well and then asks me to restart and then nothing. Still have the yellow icon in device manager.

Thought I'd register to post my setup. Sadly cannot get the drivers to work so I'm stuck with the motherboard default drivers

Also GeForce experience cannot detect my gfx card so doesn't really run at all.

My card is the NVIDIA GT 610 and 64-bit Win10. I've tried countless drivers packages but having a terrible time. Compatibility mode hasn't helped (in either 8.1, 8 or 7 mode. Looks like I'm in for a "no games" couple of weeks....

At this point I am forced to accept the fact that maybe my video card is bad. I'm getting error 43 in device manager and all the drivers haven't fixed it. Rolling back to windows 8 and 8.1 haven't fixed it either. I should mention that in windows 8 it seemed to be fixed but as soon as I restarted the system the problem was back. Now shopping for a new laptop. Acer v nitro is looking great with gtx 960m to me.
