Windows 10: Latest NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Drivers for Windows 10
I have a GeForce GT 640m in my Laptop, will this hotfix get it working again? Better to wait a while until the fix is getting fewer user issues?
New to Windows 10 and not as 'puter-savvy as some. Thanks for the advice in advance

Sounds like your issue is more then this, might be best to start a new post and we can try to resolve it for you.
I'm on 5910, anything newer the pc locks up at random times.
downloaded the hotfix driver but it said I didn't have compatible gpu.
wanted to run the newer driver as my video editing software,
it said I need a newer driver to be able to use it for hardware rendering

Awesome. Hopefully this fixes the artifacting I was getting in GTA Online with the latest WHQL and Hotfix drivers.
Won't fix the Opencl issue thou.....only MS can do that.
Check through this if you didn't, i went through it myself, but not sure if i saw that one.

I went to the NVidia site, but all the drivers that show are for Linux. I tried searching for Windows, but none turned up.
This is for an HP dv9700 laptop PC that's over five years old.
Anyone got an URL for the proper site?
After installing Windows 10 Home on 2 computers, I have found that the graphics drivers are having trouble updating.
Can someone assist me on fixing this?

I just completed a dirty install of Win10 (10074) on top of Win8.1. I would have done a clean install but I was hoping not to have to reinstall all my Steam content. Looks like I'm going to have to do a clean install to solve this, but on the off...
anyone have a good driver for this slightly older vista-era laptop?
the machine is a HP DV9917CL.
I have it running with the old HP vista 64 driver. it works pretty good but I get some flashes and blackouts on certain aero functions .
