Windows 10: Latest NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Drivers for Windows 10
I am using 352.63 with my GTX 660Ti and Windows 10 Pro 10074 64bit. My motherboard is an Asus Maximus VI Hero with the internal graphics disabled and no monitor connected. Every so often when Windows starts up my monitor connected to the GTX card goes into sleep mode. I power down and then it works the second time the system boots up. I don't know what is causing this, I did not have this problem with Windows 8.1. Maybe it is the beta Nvidia driver?
I've been having hard locks while gaming with these drivers, and the default ones that 10 installs through WU. Had to go back to an older DX11 driver to stop them. Hopefully DX12 will be ready for primetime soon.
Now I've got 10074 on bare metal I'll give the 980 Classy a run on these drivers and see how things go. I haven't checked which drivers W10 has installed yet.
I'm downloading now. The drivers supplied with WU had my 980 Classified crashing on the desktop. I never tried to play a game on it yet. If these seem to work OK, I will try.
I've had the same Steve with my 980 with the drivers installed by Windows, driver stopped responding and recovered. I'll do a clean install of 352.63 tonight and see how it goes.
352.63 installed with no problems (and no reboot required??).
Just got this update through the NVIDIA GeForce Experience program
but this driver is not yet available on the NVIDIA Drivers download page.

Oh, thanks for the heads up. I'll give that one a shot. Hopefully it doesn't give me the lockups that the beta version did.

I went to the NVidia site, but all the drivers that show are for Linux. I tried searching for Windows, but none turned up.
This is for an HP dv9700 laptop PC that's over five years old.
Anyone got an URL for the proper site?
After installing Windows 10 Home on 2 computers, I have found that the graphics drivers are having trouble updating.
Can someone assist me on fixing this?
Will check back in the morning.
I just completed a dirty install of Win10 (10074) on top of Win8.1. I would have done a clean install but I was hoping not to have to reinstall all my Steam content. Looks like I'm going to have to do a clean install to solve this, but on the off...
anyone have a good driver for this slightly older vista-era laptop?
the machine is a HP DV9917CL.
I have it running with the old HP vista 64 driver. it works pretty good but I get some flashes and blackouts on certain aero functions .
