    Yay!

Probably for the best. If it ain't broke don't fix it. There will most likely be a new Game Ready Driver for Rage 2 around May 14th if you feel lucky though. I usually don't install HF drivers so I'll wait aswell. Although I am curious if this addresses the Hitman 2 crashing. I see that they've finally made it in the priority list, so that's something.
I'll have to admit curiosity got the best of me, and I had to see if it fixed the "Race on Wake". It did. This is updated, if this was the culprit.

I was going to ask you if you used DDU during your experimentation with the Hot Fix. I was hesitant to install it since I don't have any high CPU level. I think I can live without it for now. Glad you give a feedback!

I will still stay away from it for now as per your post # 1764. Thanks Mate!

“Welcome to Flight Club. The first rule of Flight Club is: you do not talk about Flight Club. The second rule of Flight Club is: you DO NOT talk about Flight Club! Third rule of Flight Club: if someone yells “stop!”, goes limp, or taps out, the flight is over. Fourth rule: only two guys to a flight. Fifth rule: one flight at a time, fellas. Sixth rule: the flights are bare knuckle. No shirt, no shoes, no weapons. Seventh rule: flights will go on as long as they have to. And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Flight Club, you have to flight.”

I don`t think the hot fix actually fixed anything, I gave it a shot on my Z170 and the core temps were all over the place and would not settle down.

Went back to 425.31 and all is well. I expect another driver will be out sooner than later.

I dunno, most people I've asked have the CPU usage fixed with this HF driver. Did you root it back to the nvcontainer.exe? I just tested it and works normally for me aswell. And this driver totally fixed the freezing in Hitman 2 @swarfega , but it does have intermittent stutters in the beginning as it builds shaders. Not sure if it's the driver or the recent game patch causing it though.

Not a gamer, Faith, but you mention "stutters" with this Hotfix. That is why I bagged the whole thing and DDU'd back to 425.31. I have a couple of 8gadgetpack goodies on my desktop, one is the Big Clock (my eyes are older than me! ). With this driver, and the system sitting perfectly idle (~1% cpu), the second hand on the clock would stagger and jump 2-3 seconds at a time, pause, repeat. Put 425.31 back on, now stable. There is something amiss in NVidia Land...............
