Anyone notice a memory leak with 430.39?

Shadow of the Tomb Raider keeps crashing and Event Viewer points towards a memory leak. I had the same issue with the last WHQL drivers that introduced Pascal ray tracing.

Could be it's Nvidia Container using up a lot of CPU cycles.

    My system at idle.

I have just checked mine and I don't have these high CPU cycles even though I had installed the latest version 430.39 just yesterday. Does anyone know exactly the function of this process (NVIDIA container)?. I have already in many occasions scoured the internet in an attempt to find answer to my question, but to no avail.

Another thing I constantly notice is that if I disable NVIDIA Telemetry in "Services", NVDIA container keeps on running in "What's My Computer doing?". When Telemetry is enabled, the nvcontainer doesn't show anymore in "What's My Computer doing?". By syllogistic reasoning, I think it has to do with Telemetry, but no surefire way to prove that.

Through a bit of searching I found out that if I disable Fast Startup the CPU usage of the Nvidia Container drops right down.
As for the Telemetry thing have a read of my post here Latest NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Drivers for Windows 10 - Page 168 - Windows 10 Forums

Are you all on 19H1 (1903)? Seems to be a common issue there, although this driver specifically mentioned that a memory leak is fixed. I've tested a few games and I don't see the NVIDIA container leaking or memory leaks in general on 1809. Haven't tested with DX12 or Vulkan yet, only DX11.

meaning that is not the case for me, but thanks for the reference with regard to Telemetry. What I will probably do is to use DDU to help me in keeping the strict minimum from the NVIDIA's latest driver without the extras. The only problem now is that the executable for the driver doesn't to want install (giving errors). While Using the GeForce experience after DDU even with custom install is like going back to square one. At least, that is my experience...

Here's a post I've just made in the Windows 7 Forums regarding the latest NVIDIA drivers.

Latest NVIDIA ForceWare Video Drivers Windows 7 - Page 171 - Windows 7 Help Forums

Not sure if it is related to the Windows 10 drivers but it looks like NVIDIA are starting to get 'sneakier' with their telemetry. As I said in that post, I haven't tried the latest drivers for Windows 10 (on my other SSD) yet. But, like my W7 SSD, I might not be updating the W10 NVIDIA drivers past 425.31.
