I'm also getting the "Non 7z archive" warning, although I'm running WinRAR. Anybody know which type of archive it is? The first time I tried opening the file, I got the Windows warning about the driver being from an unknown vendor.
EDIT: All OK now. The first time I downloaded, the file was 356.55 MB as the NVIDIA page says it should be. When I downloaded a second time, the file was 537.48 MB. That installed with no problems.
Ok, after trying every back door and side window I could find, I used a velvet crowbar. Since attempts to get the right link at any/all sites, I booted another 1809 I have with GFE installed on it. Went right in just like the baby's butt stuff already posted! Snagged the installer from Program Data and shoved it on another drive. Booted back up my main 1809 and ran it. All nice and happy and smooth and installed. Noticed that the 3D stuff is no longer there as an option.
Also noticed the file GFE DL'd has a slightly different name than anything I could find manually. The "-g" on the end. Size is correct and all is fine now. I saw the post back a bit about NVidia servers not all having all the bits, so may well have caused most/all of my fun and joy. Anyhow, all done!
Hi,
While downloading with GeForce Experience, did anyone noticed a very slow download speed with the 'Game Ready Driver' ?
Tried downloading the 'Creator Ready Driver' instead and that was much much better.
(Downloading directly on NVIDIA's website is fine too)
