    Do any of you go into the Nvida Control Panel and make any changes in the Manage 3D settings? I have since Win 7 always changed the Anisotropic Filtering setting to 16x and the Antialiasing setting to override and change it to 4x. Not sure now days with current video cards and games that this does anything anymore.

    No, not for several years, it doesn't seem necessary any more.

    I assumed that but I have always been in a habit of installing new drivers and making those changes.

    Not to 3D, but a couple of minor tweaks to the brightness and gamma. This 27" Samsung curved can be very bright, almost harsh, with a lot of the Windows stuff, and the web. Old eyes need a little softer, gentler display.

    @swarfega
    Just saw this, Nick. No, not in the monitor settings. They are a @((%^%$%$ to get to and adjust, and not as fine tuned as the driver interface. The monitor settings on this Samsung are all via a single one touch little toggle button, on the BACK right lower corner. So, it's really fun trying to wiggle/push the &^%&^ thing, and see the screen at the same time. There are no on-screen settings built in. So...... I use the NVidia settings. Long winded, but accurate.
