    Strange how it affects some, and not others. I only fly simulators, IL2 Great Battles and DCS World. I haven't had any issues with these new drivers myself. Hopefully for those affected NVIDIA weill get it sorted out, he says holding his breath.
    It all depends on what GPU one has, I am sure on a RTX 2080Ti , the driver would run great.

    Not just gpu; BIOS, VBIOS, GOP, PCI-E line and IRQ/MSI can all contribute to it, and that's just a fraction. We can also add in display, display buffer (power saving), display cable, display I/O and GPU OC. And I haven't even included any software that can cause issues with drivers yet. I'm not the only one seeing black screen or other oddities with this driver though. My issue seems to be in relation with the monitor's sleep mode for some reason. It either comes back corrupted/pixelated or not at all after sleep on 416.16. On 411.70 it's normal. And games flickering seems to mostly be in The Witcher 3 for me. Far Cry 5 also suffers from flickering shadows, but this has been reported as an issue on the R411 branch aswell. I will try and get in contact with Nvidia after the weekend, because I don't really want to think about this right now. Makes my head hurt…

    Update 10.11.18

    Apparently DisplayPort have a few issues on the R411 branch causing black screens and other weird things. I sent a repro to Nvidia so hopefully it can get fixed sometime in the future.

    Posted this on the Nvidia forum a few mins ago after searching for a while and then hoping the next driver will fix it. . Maybe posting here will give us more suggestions. Hoping to reach someone who had this problem lately.

    Hi All,
    Searched for a while now and can't seem to find a solution. Every so often my screen will flicker to black for a second or two and then be fine. It don't matter if I am in a game or just at desktop, but while in MMO it seems to last 2-3 second longer. It's just random. Below is my MB and video card;

    ASUS TUF Z270 Mark 1 LGA1151 Kaby Lake DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 USB 3.1 Z270 Aura Sync ATX Motherboard
    GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 DirectX 12 GV-N1060WF2OC-6GD 6GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Video Card
    Forgot to add...monitor #1 Samsung S24C350L Samsung monitor #2 S24D330

    My Son bought a new Asus GeForce 1080 about a month ago and is experiencing the same issue.

    It must be a driver issue because we have totally different components in our computers. We have had a few driver updates in the past month or so and they don't seem to have fixed it.
    While typing this post I received the latest update v: 416.34 through GeForce Experience and hoping the problem is addressed in it. Although skimming through the patch notes I don't see a fix for flicker.

    Can someone help us with this issue please? We would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks
