Nvidia drivers can fix non-gaming issues - aswell as security holes - regardless of them being "game ready", so it's good to update once in a while. I use to look up the release notes and see if something is addressed to me before updating. Windows usually updates your driver between major feature updates twice a year, that method should work just fine if you don't want to bother. It will keep your system semi-updated. We should see a new driver branch next week (411.51 progress) and if everything goes as planned then that driver is the one I'm going to update to.
Where did you get the 411.51 info from @Faith ?

Leaks. 411.51 is used in benchmarks and was also spotted on laptopvideo2go. We know the internal drivers has been used up to the 410 family, while the RTX test driver is 411.17.

It would make sense to have such a large version jump with the release of the 2080 cards next week.

Just to see if there are any major issues that pop-up. But to be honest, I'll probably install them in a few hours.
These are the English (UK) version, can't find them yet here in the states (Probably doesn't matter).

Go into GEForce Experience and check. That's how I got them both. I think she posted the UK NVidia site.
