DirectX 12 is not utilize unless the game is specifically program to utilize DirectX 12, what's the problem?

If you have a problem with your videocard and the video driver in Windows 10 please create a thread specifically for your problem.

Nightmare, but I managed to fix things on my computer.

    First I stopped Microsoft updates.
Then uninstalled every NVIDIA program/driver/utility I could find and (IMPORTANT) deleted the install folders!

To stop Windows 10 updates do this...

Open the start menu and type "Advanced"
Select the second result, "View Advanced System Settings"
In the "System Properties" window that just opened, select the hardware tab
Click the "Device Installation Settings" button
Select "No, let me choose what to do"
Select the "Never install driver software from Windows Update"

To boot into safe mode do this...

Type msconfig and open the System Configuration utility.
Click "Boot" and check the "Safe Boot" option.

Next time you boot into Windows 10 it will be in 'Safe Mode.'
    Install the following driver...

    353.49-desktop-win10-64bit-international.hf.exe

Do NOT install the GForce Experience and do not update the graphics driver to the newer version.

I dunno if this will work for you, but it sorted out my problems.
Incredibly, even after I had disabled Windows updates the crafty twat STILL downloaded an NVIDIA driver.
Now I get pop up alerts from the task bar whining that it can't do the update!

Microsoft... Inching it's way slowly into the past! :)

Yeah the only thing wrong I have is that there's no Nvidia icon in the control panel
Windows 10 installed its digitally signed driver
when I downloaded the latest 353.62 my system rejected it

smileye, you need the X64 version. Yes, a few people use the X86 version. One issue with the x86 version is 32 bit OS is only capable of using around 3.5-3.7 GB of ram, so your 16 GB would be wasted.

353.62 installed but Planetside 2 won't even launch and a few other games has horrible performance on both GTX 750Ti and 960
I have a GTX 750Ti and it is working just fine. COD AW plays far better that it did on Win 7. I do not update my Video drivers from Windows Update.
