There's really no reason to update to hotfix drivers -- unless needed to of course -- because they are specifically ment to fix certain bugs and can throw away others in the process. Sometimes they can be from a entirely different driver branch as well, eliminating features and/or performance enhancements.

I know I just can't help myself...….. Must try them all..... It's just my OCD/ADD.

I just absolutely have to try every single beta/Vulcan/hot fix/game ready release.

    And then I forget why...….

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
The last 2 Nvidia drivers that I have tried have made my rig blue/green screen upon completing extraction to the Nvidia folder just as the installer comes up. Which is made even more frustrating by this new erase the driver installer from the folder after the install "feature".

After my rig reboots ands I have to unpack the install package again it completes successfully starts the driver install with no issues.
I am then able to go into the Nvidia folder and copy the driver install to a different location so I can cancel the install without it disappearing on me. This way I can remove the parts of it that I don't want installed from it before I run the setup/installer program from the driver folder.

My rig runs rock solid 99% of the time and I have rarely seen this green screen since Windows 10 was released.
Much less 2 times in a week and at exactly the same point of doing exactly the same thing.

    So...anyone else?

Now THAT was annoying, thank goodness they toned it down! And intense it was!

    Installed it without issues...

It hasn`t even been 2 weeks yet.

You do realize that SLI is pretty much dead ?

    I had 2 1080 Ti`s on my X299, but I pulled 1 because I just don`t need 2. 1 card plays any game I throw at it :)

Well, to everyone's own opinion however I doubt the option of SLI is nonfunctional. I always had and SLI system
