It really is. Too many people just sit there and F5 what they want. If it appears they will buy it, no matter what the price. It's really crazy.

How do you like this "deal" from Amazon (Canada). This is an MSI 1080 FE. I have no idea who deals #1 is but I certainly will never shop there. Oh, and there is an additional $65 shipping fee.

Seems to be a good idea to complain to my friends on the Windows 10 forum so I'll keep doing that (sorry).

Just got notified that my EVGA FTW 1080 has express shipped. Somewhere with the courier now at the Vancouver airport. I've heard that these couriers are backed up big time as many were anticipating a Canada Post strike which hasn't happened (yet). Plus that would be 2,300 miles (yes miles) from beautiful Vancouver to beautiful Montreal. We will see if I get it before the weekend.

Hey, at least you know it's on the way, though, and an FTW version at that. Should be a nice boost from the 770s.

I guess when Purolator says Express Shipping, they mean it. My EVGA FTW 1080 arrived this morning.

Put the 1080 in (see pic) reinstalled driver and fired up Doom campaign. At 1080p on low settings my two Asus 770's were struggling to maintain 60 FPS, often in the 30's. Now I'm at maxed out graphics at 1080P. FPS hit 200, often in the 150's and I think the lowest FPS I saw was 110. Smooth as butter.

All of this with an old I7980X processor. Simply incredible how this 1080 performs.

I'm super jealous right now. Can't wait to get mine.

There are reports that EVGA may be bumping people up from the stock 1080 to the SC version as an apology for the wait times. I hope it's true. May not be on the FTW level, but I'd take it.

Hope you get yours soon too. NCIX Canada must have received hundreds of the EVGA cards. For the FTW, I was 54 on the list and I was told a number of others before me ordered more than one. I heard Memory Express (Canada) also received a large stock, some saying it was up to 300 EVGA cards.

The EVGA cards seem to be now arriving in North America in good numbers, so maybe you won't have to wait 2 months. Hey, and my FTW was priced at that original $885 CDN figure when the cards hit the retailers. What a deal compared to that deals #1 price.:)

Also good timing as Precision XOC version 6.03 just came out today supposedly fixing many of the bugs in 6.02. Just installed it but don't have a clue how to use it yet. Somehow overclocking isn't a priority for me when I run at 1080P and get 150-200 FPS at max settings in Doom. Is it going to give me a few more FPS in Doom? LOL. Believe Doom maxes out at 200 and my monitor max refresh is 144.

I tried Precision X but I don't like it nearly as much as Afterburner.

Yes, yes, afterburner is great. Suggest that once you get your 1080 you just give XOC a try. Different from Precision X as it's designed for Pascal GPU's and GPU boost 3.0. I like the in game OSD display and noticed that in Witcher 3, with no overclocking, GPU was boosting to the 1960's plus range, well over the standard 1860 boost for the FTW, as temps were in the low 70's, and FYI FPS around 160. So the card seems to be running fine (cool) and as advertised.

I was surprised when I downloaded/installed 6.03 I had to put in the card serial number. This is significant, high level technology :)

It's true alright. I started a stepup 6 10 and on 6 22 got an email from evga upgrading me to the sc version. And nearly another month has passed ... I still wait... patiently
