I was referring to leaving the NVIDIA SURROUND part out in your fist post. That's all. It doesn't really matter what you post though, if all they read is the thread title before posting?
    Ah, I gotcha :)

But yeah, all I am after is just the display, not sound. I don't know why they are talking about sound either.

    Hi there

I suppose it's because the word SURROUND in computer technology usually implies SOUND. Remember reading online it's not always obvious as to what exactly is meant - it's not the same as speaking physically to someone where the meaning would probably be obvious. Also a lot of people here don't necessarily have English as a first language either so you have to put up with some mis understandings from time to time.

Most people on this Forum are usually willing to try and help and resolve problems though.

    Cheers

The word surround will make most people think surround sound. Like I said, I think NVidia could have picked a better name / descriptor for that feature. I've tried to use it in the past, so I knew what it was.

Yes they should have, but it makes sense why. You are SURROUNDed by monitors, which makes sense, but yes I do agree about the name change.

We should probably get on topic again :)

I don't have any more info to add. I'm out of ideas on what to try next to.

The reason why I am not using DVI-D, is because I only have a DVI-I adapter and I can't find a DVI-D to VGA adapter, or maybe I am not looking right.
theres no such thing as DVI-D to VGA cause DVI-D stands for Digital and VGA is analog. however you should find DVI-I or DVI-A to match with the VGA, then youre good to go

I have been saying that I already have a DVI-I to VGA already in motion since I had my old computer which was at least 2 -3 years ago and still using that same one.
