Intel Drivers - Which branch?

Hi all,

I have a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro, which uses HD Graphics 4400. I'm running Windows 10 64-bit. I noticed the drivers in the Windows Update channel are dated newer than what is on Intel's site and the version on my system is 20.19.15.4352. The version on Intel's site for the 4th Gen is 15.40.10.64.4300 and some older versions on my system are 10.18.10.4xxx.

What's the deal with these version numbers? More importantly, which ones do I use?

I'm also trying to troubleshoot some glitchy picture out of my system at 3840x2160/30Hz (4K UHD). Doesn't seem to be bad HDMI cables. Anyone else have issues?

I'm leaving it as is. most updates don't really add anything other than newer graphic cards and its running great

As its an Intel driver I would install the Windows Update version. Intel drivers tend to be fairly basic in user features so it doesn't matter which one you choose.

What about performance/stability?

not really see any performance increase on the different intel drivers I have tried, but the one it used before this did keep crashing when I rebooted pc.
