Yeah, I'm thinking of buying one from USA and seeing hw much it will cost to ship as its way more cheaper!! Thanks for help
See , I want to game now in 3D and play Crysis 3 in 3D but scared about it frying my card.
If My card does get to hot and dies will it affect anything else on the MB?
I am only new to building PC's
This i am not sure of if it will damage other components, only think of the PCI slot and possibly Motherboard parts. How are CPU temps at the time ?
Crysis even though in 3D is an older game, but i would lay off it for now. Want to try it like i said without MSI, but do not play games for now.
I have played pretty new graphic intense games with my GTX 970 without any issues.
I have went through many different cards over the years, not from being dead just upgrading.
Latest i have https://www.evga.com/products/Specs/...1-49c3df7ed0b1
Not sure how overseas charges are, but this company has decent prices and reliable if you go that way http://www.newegg.com/
Thank You for all your help
So you think my card is faulty?
Do not think that card you have has a good rating even though ASUS, saw similar one but GTX 970 was some complaints made in reviews
It may be that heatsink for the gpu didn't get any/ enough/ too much thermal compound.
Because you say it heats to 99 with fans running full. If it were older you could take it apart and do it over, but seeing as it is only a month old... RMA it.
There is absolutely no dust, dirt at all as its brand spanking new and I just rebuilt the PC the other day by Installing a CPU cooler and replacing everything in the new Thermaltake v71 case last Friday afternoon.
Everyday, I open the side case and give it a little dust over with an anti-static brush.
And I will take it back where i got it from and just replace it with a 980ti .. by adding $1000 or maybe a little less as I paid $269 for it.
So just taking that off $1149 will cost me $880 which is fine with me
And I will take your advice and not game with it at all so I can refund and replace it..
Thank you once again for being so helpful..
Much appreciated JDS63 :)
