Just right click the install file and select properties
    Then select the Compatibility tab
Now tick the option to run in compatibility mode and choose windows 8.
    Then click OK

Now try the install again, probably won't help but worth a shot.

Thanks again Jamie. It did not work. I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled in Win8 mode but the install hung up on each of three attempts. Did a reinstall w/o the Win8 and it installed correctly but still shows the error 43. So, back to square one. Thanks to all for the advice. If you hear of a fix please post ASAP.

Main monitor is DVI, #2 is VGA. Jamie, how do I get to that compatibility mode form?
