At 100+ hours with multiple games and now i get video driver crashes

I can't play any game now without a crash happening frequently and early into a session. I had 100+ hours into Ark with no crashes of this type and now they just wont stop happening.
The error message i get is usually "Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware." or "the graphics driver has crashed and reset".
I am not sure about how to fix this. My laptop is a toshiba Satellite P75-A7200. I have become aware that i cannot improve the graphics card, but i was actually fine running Ark, Ds2, Wow, Dota 2 and others with many hours before this started to occur. 1000 hours minimum
The laptop comes with 8gb of ram as default, but i went ahead and put in two sticks of 4gb ram. These two errors occur with the sticks in or without. I would say that my laptop experiences more hiccups or pauses but continues to run with the extra sticks in, but idk how'd id provide that as usable info.

Have you updated the graphics card driver? if no then update, if yes try rolling back to the old driver and see if that works.

I have tried both Slimdriver and intel(R) Driver Update Utility. The options provided have yielded no benefit. I will try rolling back now.

thanks for the tip, i know i've seen that rolling back can help, but i guess i havent tried. It seems fine for now. My current session has lasted two hours without incident. i'll get back to you once it crashes.

so the rollback prevents the driver from crashing, but the notifications that pop up at the bottom right of the screen for any steam game i play is pixelated and texts at random are pixelated and either illegible or hard to read. This is much more preferable then a game crash, but I was wondering if anyone experienced this before? Is there anything that i should be concerned about if you have seen it?

Do the new sticks of ram match the old ones in terms of speed and make. Some argue that even the model range is important and you should get all your memory from the same store.

all the sticks are at 4gb each, but only the default sticks are toshiba. and the others are not. I also have this problem when the extra sticks are taken out.
Edit: The extra ones are DMS 4gb PC3L-10600 273/502331L28421. Back sticker shows 4GB PC3L-12800S 1Rx8.
I have PA5037U-1M2G memory modules as default.

so the extra sticks are removed and the same inital error messages pop up. I have tried both rollback option and fully updated and both dont prevent the problem
