    Intel HD Graphics 4600 driver not installing correctly.


    The newest release of this driver is version 15.40.10.64.4300. After installing, my computer restarts and everything is fine. My problem occurs after a couple of days (I think it is caused when I switch power plans or unplug laptop) the power saving technology in the Intel graphics control panel is turned on even though I have the setting disabled. This setting is very annoying because on a white background the brightness is normal, but when on a darker background the brightness gradually decreases. Also when looking in Intel graphics control panel it says I have driver version 20.19.15.4300. Even though I have installed the newest update.

    Side note I have the windows power option turned off for adaptive brightness

    Right-click on the desktop and select Graphics properties (this is the Intel Control Panel). See if you can adjust the brightness from there and turn off any power option.

    I don't see where to adjust the brightness, but i can change settings (Maximum battery life, balanced mode, or maximum performance)

    Three day's ago M$ installed these update's on my lappy.

Windows 10 just installed on my laptop.. and it refuses to allow me to open an overlay editor. It complains that it has a problem with my intel HD Graphics 4600 card. I downloaded the latest new drivers for this card - ones that were made available...
Which of these two is better? I have both of them in my PC. I have heard that the hd graphics does better than the nvidia gt 610. Would it make any difference if I disable the nvidia card and use the intel graphics? Or do both of them work together...
