This seems to be a common reported problem with some versions of the Nvidia drivers. Download a different version, like 353.62, from the Nvidia download site
Installed 353.62 and I have gone back to error 43
Download this driver http://international.download.nvidia...ational.hf.exe
Disable windows hardware driver updates - this is important.
boot to safe mode
while in safe mode run DDU and remove both the Intel drivers and the nvidia drivers
reboot and install the drivers above.
My suggestion: revert to the Windows 7 installation. Make an image of it. (I use Acronis True Image, but many have recommended the free version of Macrium Reflect.)
Then clean install 10. It should automatically activate online, as you have already activated it at least once as an upgrade.
You can turn off driver updates in Windows Update. I've done that, so that I can play with non-WHQL nVidia drivers.
Reseat the video card.
