Win 10 will not use my 2nd monitor after upgrade from Win 7

Hi all, Eric from Florida here, with my first problem that I can't solve.

First, the soft facts, my system is as follows:

    1. Windows 10 upgraded from Windows 7 32-bit.
    2. AMD Catalyst Software Suite v 15.20.1062.1004, which the software update function says is current.

    Second, the hard facts

    1. AMD APU A-10 5700 3.4 gHz w/Radeon 7660D graphics built in.
    2. ASRock FM2A85X motherboard which supports up to 3 monitors.
    3. 2.4 GB of usable RAM
    4. Dual Dell 1905FP monitors (my work is better served without wide screens and they ain't broke), hooked up on DVI and VGA
    5. I have tried two different VGA cables.
    6. Yes, it is a home build.

    Third, the situation

    1. Monitors worked fine when running as extended displays under windows 7 (actually never even set that up, it just worked after I hooked up the second monitor)
    2. I have not been able to get monitor 2 (VGA) to display anything.
    3. If i unhook monitor 1 (DVI) and reboot then monitor 2 will work, but if i reconnect monitor 2 and reboot neither monitor will work and visa versa.
    4. AMD catylist will show, under detect display, only 1 monitor, 2 monitors of different sizes, or 2 monitors of the same size.
    5. Windows devices shows either a Dell 1905FP or a Generic PnP monitor. I can not correlate a cause and effect of why.

    Now, the plea for help

    1. I am fresh out of ideas and think i have tried every combination imaginable and still get the same result (maybe I am just insane?)
    2. Am I just a victim of conflicting drivers?
    3. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

I would download ( from AMD) new drivers and reinstall them, make sure they are for APU processors and not for discrete GPU.

UKM...I'm able to choose to extend in both windows and amd catylist. But when I do I only get half of my window on one monitor and the second monitor remains black.
