No TDRs at desktop level or black screen crashes so marking as solved as stability seems ok.

Good to know, hope it is resolved. NVIDIA updates often.

@jds63, I have just installed windows 10 and this very issue is what I'm suffering with, TDR with no hope for a fix, just crashes to black screen and reboots without recovering the driver, so frustrating, on driver 358.50 for w10, any luck on yours?

Solved for me, make sure you do a clean install of the driver

Often a clean install of Windows will fix this (clean slate from previous leftovers). If you're up for it: Windows 10 - Clean Install - Windows 10 Forums

You could alternatively try uninstalling the driver, restarting, installing the new via CUSTOM INSTALL and selecting perform a clean install when presented with the checkbox.

Just had a TDR looking at facebook

    Several in a row now.

Turned off hardware acceleration in firefox to see if thats the cause. Been fine since 7 Oct

Is it just a black screen and forced reboot with no info whatsoever? It's literally driving me mad!

This is a clean install of windows 10 after the upgrade became corrupted, running off the sandisk ssd in my specs below.

He's the progress I've made upto now: Random black screen and restart, bugcheck 0x0000116 in event viewer
