Suggestions for a graphics card for a Windows 10 Pro computer

I will be buying a used Dell T3420 computer. It will run Windows 10. I trade stocks. The processor will be an Intel i9. I am not a computer expert. I am looking for a reasonably priced video card which has 4 outputs for 4 monitors. My budget is $200 or less. What video card would you suggest?

    Hello @cellsee6,

I recently purchased a MSI GeForce RTX 4060 for around $340.00, a little over your budget but I cannot complain. It’s got two DisplayPort outputs and one HDMI. You can connect more than one display to a DisplayPort.

I think you might struggle at $200.00 but you don’t need much more.

    Cheers

A consideration would be if all 4 monitors have to show the same thing or if all will display different data. I have an older custom Win10 Pro with a PCIe X16 NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 [Display adapter] that has 2 DVI ports on it. The Gigabyte motherboard has no built-in adapter.

The Dell T3420 is a Precision [I have a T-1605] and comes in 2 or 3 styles/sizes, an SFF, a Micro/Mini SFF and a standard Tower. The SFFs don't have much room for added cards or large cards [I also have an Optiplex and Inspiron SFFs]. Not bragging, I take old computers for parts before going to landfill, rehab what I can for sale or donation.

If all you do is stocks its hard to justify anything new in a build like that. One its OEM two if you are not gaming no point buying a RTX.

Anything from the last 15 years can run 4 monitors you could go as low as like 680 or r9 and get support for 4 models all though that far back half of the ports are probably dvi which is becoming hard to source for unless you buy used monitors too, or use adapters.

if it has to be new then just get a 1650 else if not there is a whole lot of used stuff for cheap that will also net some gameplay ability.
