Windows 10 "Thinks" I have a 4:3 monitor. Does not give 1920x1080
I upgraded a Windows 7 Dell Optiplex 780 to Windows 10 and for some reason, Windows 10 "Thinks" I have a 4:3 monitor installed and it only gives me 4:3 resolutions even with the latest graphics driver and monitor driver.
However, 1920x1440 IS an option, proving that the graphics card and drivers is capable of high-resolution displays but I have no 16:9 resolutions available other than 1366x768
When Windows 7 was installed, this desktop was running in 1920x1080 so it definitely is more than capable of running in that resolution.
This is an Intel 4 Q45 express chipset. Dell E2211Hc monitor.
I spent the last 14 hours trying to fix this and nothing has worked.
