    Keeping displayport active when KVM switches


    I have a dual-head KVM that seems to disconnect my displays when I switch computers. Is there a way to fix this or should I buy a different KVM?

    Are both computers useing DP connections? I use a Trendnet 4-port KVM that uses VGA connections but have one computer [newest] that requires a DP to VGA adapter, not giving any issue.

    I should have been more specific. Yes. Both computers are using display port. They are not using VGA or HDMI. Both monitors are 4k
