Seems your installation is very different to mine..

Note that there is a Store app for the control panel and that's what you seem to have. I don't.

My driver could be somewhat old I guess- it's an older laptop.
    389.27.

Those paths in the DriverStore are not used by the active installed program...

Something I've just read suggests Nvidia changed the structure- hence the Store app for example.

You have ways to launch the control panel- why not remove it from the desktop context menu?
    There's a tutorial...

You could even add your own - that works.

But I still suspect Defender is blocking this.

And do try using Autoruns to locate the actual context menu path on yours.
Simple- download and run Autoruns. Wait for it to scan- a couple of mins.
Then use the find function- just try Nvidia.

I see a shortcut to the Nvidia CP in the Control Panel- rt click it, Create Shortcut - that's one option..

    @antikfilosov

It might be easier if you started with this... first...

    DDU Instructions - Nvidia
    1. Get this program, here: Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) | Wagnardsoft ...get the latest version, and save it to your desktop.
    2. Get the DCH/Game Ready vid card driver here, use the Manual Search: Advanced Driver Search | NVIDIA ...save this to your desktop.
    Unhook the internet completely.
    3. Reboot into Safe Mode and run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you.
    4. After it's done, reboot to normal mode, then just double click the Nvidia driver to install.
[See pics below]. If it want's to reboot, let it.
    Rehook the internet.
