Nvidia Geforce Experience requires registration

Why do I have to "register" and "login" to download latest drivers from Nvidia?

I have a tooltip on my actionbar "nvidia driver ready for download" or something similar, so you, Nvidia, are prompting me to download your latest drivers, you, I did not ask for it. But as soon as I click on the icon at my actionbar, it says "Log in". It will not go further.

I DO NOT WANT TO LOG IN. I NEVER WANTED TO LOG IN.

Let me download the drivers or LEAVE ME ALONE!

You don't, you can download drivers directly from Nvidia:

You only need an Nvidia Account(register/Log in) to use the Nvidia GeForce Experience App. Feel free to uninstall that.

You have certainly installed geforce experience by installing the nividia drivers. During the installation of the driver pay attention there is a choice to install the driver + geforce experience and another choice to install only driver.

Sometimes the latest is not the greatest. Uninstall the drivers ( or at least the Nvidia Experience from the Programs & Features menu ) if you have to reinstall the drivers just make sure to select what you need.

What I do is painstakenly browse for drivers via the Web Browser, and run the installer. The installer will unzip the files, and when it does do not proceed but go to the extraction point and use a compressor to compress the files that was extracted. Afterwards
exit the installer and go to where the extracted files are. You could browse what you want and need to install from those files.
Sometimes clicking one will install the others but with this method I could have various features installed without going through the Automatic installation.

FYI lately more often Nvidia has been pushing users to remove everything previous and just install whatever is current. Thanks to this I am unable to use various features my card support no matter what I upgrade with. Sometimes I am unable to downgrade my drivers or even install whatever I want to install. It is insanity.

Like for instance I tried using the GDC Beast. It works great even on later cards but blasted Nvidia cards latest drivers block the method of me using the Express-card for graphics and will not load certain games which wants the later drivers. That is insanity.
ASUS does a better job of having more freedom.
