    NVDisplay.Container.exe Stopped Working

During the past few days I've started getting these errors reported in Reliability Monitor presumably from the NVidia driver for my RTX 2060Super GPU. I updated to the latest NVidia driver to no avail. I use NVCleanstall to avoid installing much of the NVidia bloatware. Maybe that's the problem?

Did you try uninstalling with DDU in safe mode?

I use NVCleanInstall to create packaged drivers for the PCs I support. Typically with nothing but the driver, or if used with TV then with HD Audio. One person hates privacy so he uses GForce Experience, which requires the telemetry component. I do not get any errors with the 3 different packages I've created.

    DDU Instructions - Nvidia
    1. Get this program, here: Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) | Wagnardsoft ...get the latest version, and save it to your desktop.
    2. Get the DCH/Game Ready vid card driver here, use the Manual Search: Advanced Driver Search | NVIDIA ...save this to your desktop.
    Unhook the internet completely.
    3. Reboot into Safe Mode and run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you.
    4. After it's done, reboot to normal mode, then just double click the Nvidia driver to install.
[See pics below]. If it want's to reboot, let it.
    Rehook the internet.

All working fine so far after your recommended cleanup.

I do the whole thing when I update my driver, which I only do rarely.

This error just happened again after a few days with no problems. I discovered this happens when I switch between accounts on my PC. What does nvdisplay.container.exe do and can it be safely disabled in Autoruns?

I reverted to an earlier driver which fixes the problem so this must be a bug with the latest drivers.

Update. I installed the latest driver 551.23 which has fixed this issue.
