Query regarding getting Windows 10 to shut the hell up.

    I have two PC's one running Windows 11 22H2 , the other Windows 10 22H2 I use a gaming KVM 2 PC's in - 3 Monitors out to switch between the two.

Switching to the Windows 11 PC is very graceful - it just happens but when I switch to the Windows 10 Machine I get notifications from Windows saying GSync displays have been added like the monitors have never been on the system, as you can imagine when it is doing this 3 times because there are 3 monitors it gets annoying, it gets worse though because every device attached to my 16 port hub which is attached to the KVM also gets ported so Windows 10 then starts adding 16 devices like they have never been on the machine before - when they have.

Thus the question "Does anyone know a way to get windows 10 to shut the hell up?"

    Try

    I used Google:
    disable device added notification windows

If the above doesn't help, you might find more results with that search. Good luck.

Ill give it a shot, it does not quite sound right because it says "Finish setting up your device" which I remember is the last part of going through a Windows install but I'll give anything a go.

Agreed, hence my reference to pursuing the search. Unfortunately control of notifications seems somewhat unclear to me; some cases are obvious, others obscure.

Suggest you try disabling ALL notifications as a test just to see if that has any effect at all.
