Yes the IGPU is DirectX 12 compliant and more powerful.

Thankyou it's crazy that a 10 year old graphic card is more powerful than a 5600G int GPU....also odd that it's selling in amazon for £240

You miss read the post, the IGPU meaning the 5600G is more powerful by like 600mhz boost which is a good gain and it will have a more advanced feature set.

The 750 ti has a higher base clock though so comparison is inverted somewhat 900mhz base for the 750ti and the IGPU only have 300mhz base this will be because of the form factors of each device where the IGPU is about being eco.

In the end the IGPU wins because it can boost to 1900mhz where the 750 can only boost to like 1300mhz

If you go with the IGPU though you want to make sure you use the fastest ram possible that your computer can use to make the most of this.

Well, here's the Specs for the GTX 650 TI. But I can't find the texture fill rate for the AMD iGPU for crap. Why is it so hard finding things anymore!

Based on clock speed alone, the iGPU (Integrated Graphics Processing Unit) is faster. i.e. The CPU.

Well yes, the GTX 650 Ti is faster but in most latest titles you will see the GPU of the said Ryzen to be even more faster.

So what if I don't play games as I don't, mostly simple apps e.g. MP3 tag a little Photoshop and lightroom

The numbers from userbenchmark.com pretty much underscore what I'm thinking about in terms of texture fill rate and other GPU metrics as it applies to what you'll use the video card for, either iGPU or discrete graphics, i.e a dedicated GPU and gaming or what ever.

If you don't play games, then you don't need discrete graphics, an iGPU in the CPU will work great. My parent's computer I built for them uses my old i5 6600k and I never installed a GPU for them. They get by with the iGPU in the CPU it self and just watch YouTube videos and browse the web. It works great for that purpose.

Then discrete graphics is not needed.
