    Problem with one monitor

I just built a new system and now one of my monitors which have worked perfectly for years is going black and then comes back maybe once every day or two. My plan is to switch the monitor's on my graphics card to see if the issue happens on the other monitor. That will tell me it is something with the Graphics card if not it most likely the monitor.

The new MSI MB has a onboard graphics but I know when you install a graphics card the onboard is disabled but wondering if something there might be causing the issue.

Is there anything else I am not thinking about to troubleshoot this issue?

    Thanks in advance

I always go into my BIOS and disabled the on-board Graphics just to be safe. You might try that and see if that helps any
