Hey all.
Is there a way I can seemlessly interact with my PC on my second monitor with "multiple monitor 'extend desktop'" with my primary montior in a fullscreen game? (For example; playing RDR2 or Halo 4, or even Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection) So far in order for me to interact with my second monitor is to Alt+Tab out. :L
Steam games can utilize the-sdl_displayindexparameter which you can set in the launch option on any game.
-sdl_displayindex=0
or the corresponding value of the monitor you want to run on. You can also define in big picture mode as well but its the same thing.
Some games might have an option to explicitly define a monitor to run on its not common but i have seen it in some game configs.
By nature you are extending the display/s so any full screen app is going to span over those displays by design, its hard to define in this context because it is behaving as intended. Although i do agree it would be nice for a more convenient way to do these sorts of things.
