Main External Monitor Not Working After Windows Update?

Hi. I know this is windows 10 forum but i like advice.

I had a windows eleven update and then restarted my laptop. I use 2 external monitors with it. One is a 32' 4k monitor and the other is a 24' monitor.

I noticed after I restarted it, it showed the percentage update on my 2nd external monitor. Usually whenever it does the windows update, it would show it on my laptop screen or my main external monitor. After the update, it displays my 2nd external monitor as my main monitor. My main 32' 4k samsung monitor doesn't seem to work? When I go to display option, it does show 3 monitors though.

I went to restart my laptop and after doing this, only my 2nd external monitor and my laptop screen shows a screen. My main 32' 4k monitor doesn't seem to do anything? When I click on the power button on it, all it does is show displayport on the top left corner. I can power it off as well. But why does it not display my 32' 4k monitor?

    This seems to be it

security update for microsoft windows kb 5023706

    - - - Updated - - -

So it shows my laptop screen as monitor 1 in display. Shows smaller monitor as monitor 3 in display next to it. My big monitor is monitor 2 but you can't click or drag it? So it does detect it as even device manager shows it.

But why does it not show anything? This happened right after i restart laptop for update so this isn't a cable issue etc.

What are my options now? Go to display?

The update was done very quickly, no bios update.

Also when i check the display, it shows it as display 2 and not active. So that has to be the reason right? The laptop screen and other monitor works fine and shows the display properties and resolution.

Should i uninstall the windows update? Notice when i go to updates, it shows the update i did earlier

security update for microsoft windows kb 5023706

Also it shows my previous two other security updates i did before this.

Would powering off my laptop and then unplug the power cable from the bigger monitor and laptop and plug it back in and then power on laptop be good idea? Tried that and same issue.

My bigger monitor is connected by usb c to displayport.

My smaller monitor is connected hdmi to dvi cable. The dell 20A adapter is connected to my laptop and hdmi to dvi cable is connected from there.

So this windows update caused this? Anyone can please give me advice here?

Did you disconnect the third monitor then reconnect it and select the 'detect' tab?

Disconnected monitor while laptop powered off. Then connected monitor back.

    Shows 3 displays there. Shows 1, 3 , 2.

2 is the 32' 4k monitor that doesn't show anything. They all are detected though?

When i click on advanced display for that monitor, it shows

    Display 2 isn't active.

But display 1 and 3 shows the resolution and hertz and those have no issue... laptop screen and other smaller 24' monitor.

When i go to task manager it shows

GPU 0 Intel Iris Xe Graphics

    Driver Version: 31.0.101.3959
    Driver Date: 12/3/22

GPU 1 Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050

    Driver Version: 31.0.15.2737
    Driver Date: 11/26/22

So that means my intel iris xe graphics isn't up to date?

Thing is my bigger monitor never had this issue until this windows update.

I am pretty sure I downloaded the link I posted last time and after downloading that driver, it fixed the monitor issue. Now I have the same exact issue again. I had to download another dell firmware update as that was required to restart laptop.

    Intel(R) Arc™ & Iris(R) Xe Graphics - WHQL - Windows*

Do I download from that link again? Or should I go to dell site and enter my service tag and then download the driver there? What about dell update on my laptop? Example when I run dell update it shows these are the updates

    Dell Update

    Critical Updates 2 of 2

Dell/Alienware Update Windows Universal Application May 2023
Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050/3050Ti Graphics Driver April 2023

    Recommended Updates

    Dell Pair Application January 2023
Intel Iris/UHD Graphics Driver May 2023

On Dell.com and putting my device service tag

    Critcal
Dell/Alienware Update Windows Universal Application May 2023
Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050/3050Ti Graphics Driver April 2023
Intel Integrated Sensor Solution Driver December 2022
Realtek USB GBE Ethernet Controller Driver October 2022

    Recommended
Intel Graphics Command Center Application May 2023
    Intel Iris XE/UHD Graphics Driver

    Whole bunch more.

What do I do? Should I download the same intel driver link like last time and that probably fix it? Or should I download the updates with Dell Update App on laptop? Or download the driver from dell site with service tag and if so... which ones do I download?

So I shut down laptop. Unplugged all usb and monitor cables from my laptop. Turned on laptop. Then downloaded it and it ask to reboot and it reboot itself. Then I shut down laptop. Plugged in my monitor and usb cables to it. Did not however power on my monitors yet. Then once logged in. Then first powered on the main 32' 4k monitor and it worked.... few seconds later power on the 24' monitor and the moment I do this... the 32' 4k monitor no longer works. It still shows display 2 isn't active now.

I then shut down laptop. Powered off both monitors. Then turned on laptop. Then once in the main screen, power on my 32' 4k monitor and it does work like earlier. But the moment I power on the 24' monitor... the 32' 4k monitor doesn't work. Shows the same message in display of display 2 isn't active. So what is the issue here? Seems like I can only get 1 monitor to work at a time?
