Monitor takes ages to get clear after turning on

I have a Acer predator z271 monitor plugged in to my pc via dp and Gigiabyte RTX 3060 TI graphiics card on Windows 10 . When I switch the setup on the monitor starts with a multi colored screen with no wallpaper showing at all.

Sometimes it can easily take up to 20 minutes to clear up and be useable.

    Hello @belveder,

I do NOT know if this will help for the Status of the Monitor, but, Copy & Paste the following command into a CMD Prompt and press Enter.

    Code:

PowerShell "Get-CimInstance -ClassName Win32_DesktopMonitor | Select Status, StatusInfo"

    I hope this helps.

Does the monitor have different inputs (VGA, DVI, HDMI)? Tried a different one and/or cable?

You haven't mentioned plugging it in to a different computer.
