    How to uninstall Nivida Control Panel

    W10 22H2
    The Nivida driver package installed the driver and the Control Panel which I don't want or need. There is a entry in add/remove programs for the driver, but not the Control Panel. I normally use Revo Uninstaller, but it doesn't show there either.

    How does one remove that??

    You didn't mention where you want to remove it from so...

    Add or Remove NVIDIA Control Panel Notification Tray Icon in Windows

    Make a backup and then use DDU to uninstall.

    I'll try it if I can find a way to permanently disable Windows Update.

    Current NVIDIA Control Panel is an Appx package.
    Code:
    powershell -nop -ep bypass "Get-AppxPackage *NVIDIA* | Remove-AppxPackage -AllUsers"

    I've never used PS before, just a regular Command Prompt. How does the "-nop -ep bypass" get entered in?

    You copy the entire line into CMD.

    Ok, I did a fresh install of the O/S w/o a Internet connection. I use DM to load just the driver and it installed ok this time.

    BUT, 2 things;

    Will that annoying M$ Auto Update force the installation of Control Panel?
    and
    How do I get rid of that annoying message that pops up complaining the CP can't be found??

    NVIDIA CP is on the Store, allowing WU to update old versions but only if it's already installed.

    When it's not installed, WU cannot force it to your system. Make sure you have automatic driver updates disabled, so it doesn't find a random version that includes Control Panel as part of the normal release.
