How to switch between two DPI scale values via hotkey?

Hi!

I'm looking for a solution (that's not morbidly difficult) to cycle between two DPI scale values.
I need one for when I'm sitting at the desk and one for sitting at the couch. (I actually use a large TV screen, so both places are viable.)
I find it rather impractical to go to settings all the time and change it in the dropdown menu.

Well, I guess it looks amazingly complicated, convoluted.
Though I wonder if that Nirsoft app from the older thread can actually chang the scaling as well. Then it might be simpler usig that with Windows' built in hotkey functionality

I haven't seen anything in NirSoft to show that it understands display scaling. Not everything in Windows does either - I changed from scaling to a different resolution because scaling messed up columns in WMP.
I use NirCmd for a variety of odd jobs and it is reliable.



Many people have found Windows hotkey functionality to be unreliable.
But that wouldn't stop you running the NirCmd shortcuts directly. You should be able to pin them to the Start menu or the Taskbar for ease of use.

True that stuff don't understand scaling. It includes the taskbar.

But, resolution changes aren' better handled either. As far as I can tell, the desktop has the same dumb behavior, since the nineties.

What I founf is that hotkeys don't work for some reason if an app is in full screen mode, since Win7 at least. In XP they always worked.
