i have a few years-old VH226H monitor from Asus. The manual controls are crazy difficult to use, and I'm wondering if there is a way to refresh or reinstall the firmware associated with its manual controls?

ps also the PNP driver windows loads for the monitor is ancient. is that ok?
You are fine with the Windows drivers. The support site even says they don't provide anything

any clue how i get it to turn off?
stays on no matter what - vivid blue screen with no input. I assume asus meant to get around to managing power when there are no inputs :) ... only monitor I've seen in probably 20 years that gets that wrong
