Bizarre "No Signal" message on Monitor. Help would be appreciated.

Hi. Had a thread on here last year re Critical Process Has Died, which turned out to be the Motherboard. Therefore had new MB and a Graphics Card installed tail end of 2021.

No problems since then until a few weeks ago when sporadically after turning my PC on I would get a "No Signal Message" on the monitor. A couple of turning off and turning on again solutions worked and all was fine. It didn't do it again for around three weeks until last week when it did it two mornings in a row. Everything is running and fans spinning but no signal on the monitor. Turning off at the power button and then on again worked. I then wondered if by leaving my back up USB stick in the machine on shut down might be the issue so removed it. Next morning it worked fine so I thought the issue had been solved, but the morning after, same issue - No signal. Once again a few on and off's and on again helped and I have left the PC on since and just place it on sleep overnight. In the past I always just left it on but due to the energy crisis I thought I might save a few quid by turning it off overnight. It's fully updated with Windows 10 updates and if I check Device Manager everything is working properly. No crashes when it's on and all cables seem to be fine, so not sure if it is MB, Graphics Card or Monitor, but something is not quite kicking in upon first boot. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is it connected with DisplayPort and cable perhaps...?

NVIDIA does sometimes behave a little strange there.

Thank you for the reply. Monitor is connected to PC with one of those cables with the pins, an RS cable is it?

Yep that's the Monitor and Graphics card and not far out on the connection. Mine has more pins. . The odd thing is it always wakes up from sleep and it's fine if I shut down and restart after 10 minutes or just restart,. Only seems an issue if left off overnight.

I just try to sort out what connection you have.
Is it vga, then i think you also have an adapter there for connection to the graphic card.
Is it hdmi, then it is probably ok.
Is it DVI or DisplayPort you also may have an adapter.

So what is, VGA or DVI or HDMI or Displaport?

Nice picture here, so what is your connection?

Looks like VGA cable that enters DVI-D IN port at back of monitor and the other end of the cable goes into the VGA port at back of PC. Local PC Repair shop mounted the video card when they replaced the Motherboard back in 2021.

So....the cable from the monitor is it connected directly to the graphic card on the PC, or is it connected directly to the PC itself?

I guess, and hope it is connected to the graphic card.

If not, you are not using your graphic card at all.
If so, then you buy self an hdmi-cable, not an expensive one, and connect that cable between your monitor and your graphic card on the PC.
You also have to download and install the latest graphic driver....that is 474.14 for your graphic card.

Sorry all uploads I am trying are failing to load. The cable from the monitor is plugged directly into the port at the back of the PC which then looking inside the pc it slots into I assume the graphics card via the port. There is a silver box covering so you can't see the actual head of the cable. Graphics card also mounted on motherboard etc
