    HDMI connections stopped connecting

My Smart TV and Tablet PC HDMI connections have stopped connecting. My Smart TV has 3 HDMI ports all of which are used but have suddenly stopped working. At present HDMI 1 should connect the Display directly to the TV, 2 connects an HD/DVD Recorder and 3 has a Chromecast dongle. At first I thought the Recorder had broken down again (it has recently been repaired) but then I found the other two were not working as well. How do I restore them? I have not yet found anything which helps. I have examined the Project to a second display Settings, I switched the devices around the TV ports, I checked that the PC cable to TV was OK. When I switch between the 3 HDMI ports there is a notification for each saying 'NO SIGNAL'. Online I have found plenty of info on how to set up HDMI PC to TV, but no advice on what to do if the signal ceases to be received. I have also examined Device Manager, found no mention of HDMI, found the TV to be 'working properly'

You have three completely different and independent devices connecting to your TV by HDMI. If all three stopped working at the same time then it is almost certain that the fault is in the TV, not with any of the devices. This may be a hardware fault in the TV, or a setting that's been changed in the TV's setup menu. It is improbable that all three source devices have failed at the same time.

'At the same time' might be a bit of an exaggeration, but 'around, the same time,' is probably not. The Recorder had failed a day or so before I checked the other two, so it was a bit later when I thought to check them. However, your point is valid. I made some attempt to check out the TV itself, for example in Device Manager which did not show any issue, but there is little relating to the HDMI function in the TV Manual. I will take another look, the paper Manual may have more info than the on screen one. Apart from that I am out of ideas where to look next.

Update! Late last night I made a mistake. Afterwards I discovered a large amount of material on my HDMI issue, including many YouTube videos .... I will only need help if they still do settle the issue

So far I have not found much that is relevant, by which I mean (a) deals with a working set up which then fails (b) deals with the problem being with the receiving device, ie. the TV. The TV Manual both digital and paper do not have much info on HDMI and nothing on troubleshooting its failure. Do you have any suggestions regarding this, or where I might find it? The Toshiba TV is about 2 years old. My next step is to see if Toshiba can help
