Re: anything that recently changed, 3 weeks ago:
Checking SSD Primary after Scan & Repair Warning (for Peace-of-Mind)

    I performed: SFC /scannow
Results: "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them."
I then installed Hard Disk Sentinel which tells me all is a-okay.
Follow up reply: I have/keep/run current Macrium Reflect images weekly and anytime there is a hiccup of any kind.
    Thanks again

Page #4 has most of that info; I'm attaching label.pdf from the MB's box for full details and System Information with BIOS ver., etc. Thank you.

Microsoft has been making lots of changes in Windows, so motherboard manufacturers have been updating BIOSes to keep up. As far as I can tell you have your settings in the BIOS correct. If it was me I'd flash (update) the BIOS.

BIOS version 2808 is over a year old.
They have 3006 for your motherboard...

    PRIME Z390-P|Motherboards|ASUS USA

After you download the BIOS file, extract it to a new folder.
Run the BIOSRenamer.exe file to rename your BIOS file.

Then format a USB stick as Fat32 and copy the BIOS file to that USB stick.
Use a motherboard USB port, not a case one.
Then reboot the computer and hit the DEL key to Enter the BIOS.

When in the BIOS press the F7 key to choose the Advanced mode.
Go to the Tools tab and choose: ASUS EZ Flash 3 Utility

Then navigate to your USB stick and the BIOS file on the stick... then tell it to Flash (update) the BIOS.

WARNING: While it's updating don't do anything... wait till it's finished.
Then hit the F10 key to save and exit the BIOS.

Thanks for all that. Although I've never done a BIOS update, your instructions seem straight-forward.
    1. "Use a motherboard USB port, not a case one." i.e. any one that's soldered directly to the MB (not one that's wired elsewhere on the case); makes sense. How will I identify the correct USB port while in BIOS? Will it carry the same name (e.g.: "G:") as I see in the OS when moving the the file to the stick?
    2. Re: "Run the BIOSRenamer.exe file to rename your BIOS file." Where do I acquire it? or does it come along with the download. Perhaps BIOSRenamer.exe *is* the downloaded file? New to me.
    Thanks very much

    1. You identify the USB stick in the BIOS by it's size and the filename of the BIOS update, which will end in.. .CAP

    2. The BIOSRenamer will come with the BIOS file download.

In the download you'll see this...

The VGA card is not supported by UEFI driver-image1.png

Just put both items in a folder and "run" the BIOSRenamer.exe
It will rename the other file, properly. Then you put the renamed file on the USB stick.

Thanks very much for the detailed instructions.
I'll do this in a few days when there's nothing else on my plate, and report back.
    Cheers!

    Hopefully, that will help.
The only time I get the F1 message is after a power failure. Improper shutdown and all that.

Update: I've recently learned ASUS Motherboards are known to hiccup sometimes on boot after power is interrupted from a shutdown machine. I no longer turn off my power strip and all's good! /jdU
