    'Double mage' on monitor

    Hi. My sister has a problem with her laptop's monitor. (I plugged her laptop into my monitor and all is well so the problem must be within her machine. )

    Whether a webpage or other source, the monitor has a green-tinged bottom half which seems to be a copy of the top half of the screen. The attachment hopefully explains better.

    I reckon it's time for a new laptop but perhaps someone here knows what the cause and cure of this issue is? Thanks!

    @dortmunder

    Well, it's either the laptop screen or GPU.
    I'm guessing the laptop screen is at fault.

    If it was the GPU, the problem would show up on your monitor.
