Windows and it horrible white bright

    Hello all,

trying to switch to 10 from seven. I spent most of the day undoing all the glitter and still having a problem.

I have to use the AMD software to change my brightness (missing the slider) but every so often windows hi-jacks the AMD it reverts it back to the surface of the sun.

In the AMD Radeon software i have to click "reactivate AMD color controls" it say it changed by a 3rd party. Any idea how to stop this behavior? Oddly it only affect the main monitor,, the second monitor remains with the AMD settings.

    Thanks,
    Chris

See if this works for you.

What's the fascination with dark mode?

Why not adjust your monitor settings?

Depending on the time of day, sometimes it needs to be brighter. There is a windows behind my desk. I could handle the brightness better but it feels like 10k kelvin and 255 white. The AMD software does a great job handling the monitors but windows reverts the main back to default periodically.

E.flux works great with the temperature but will override the AMD setting and go back to full brightness.

Again use the monitor settings along with getting some blinds to help tone down the direct sunlight.

Again. Run gapa and adjust then grab the profiles for each of your monitors one at a time and save each profile using CPKeeper.

Run CPKeeper on boot. (via it's settings)

Any time profile changes or reverts launch CPKeeper to restore monitor profiles.

    Both programs are portable.
