Hi, just to check - did you restart as part of the above?

Have you tried using a System Restore point created prior to this?

What provision have you made to recover when things go wrong?

    History:
What changed or happened around this time?
    - tweak?
    - update?
    - installation?
    - cat walked over keyboard..?
    - etc

I've tryed all this points that you mention. Even I've erased the two keys from the Registry recommended by Microsoft, but I don't reactivate nothing. Really. Even with two keyboards differents. Extraction (and delete) complete of the Key mention for Microsoft. If this question is so hard to resolve, I prefer going to F.Lux. Isn't true?

To confirm- you say you have used a System Restore point created before this started and still no improvement. Is that correct?

Try updating your display driver: see second part here:
    fix-windows-10-night-light-greyed-out

Post a screenshot showing the registry keys and values as per the first part.

If this question is so hard to resolve,
I don't know what you did or what happened to your PC. Sadly my crystal ball is down for scheduled maintenance for the foreseeable future, otherwise I could give you an instant magical free answer.... which is of course what everyone wants from us volunteers here...

What do you see here? Please post a similar screenshot.

(Last I looked, a long time ago, I preferred Redshift to f.lux. Just use one of those if you're not willing to spend time on this).

As you haven't responded to my question about what changed around the time this started, please perform a clean boot (Google or see tutorial if unsure) to see if there's any change.

If the Network Connection Broker Service and/or Connected Devices Platform Service are disabled, this can break the 'night light settings' functionality.
I know it sounds strange but as I experienced that myself I have both set to manual now.
