Increase Screen Display Resolution

I have a 10+ year old Laptop [ Shipped with Win 7 Pro ] - Fujitsu LIFEBOOK AH530 64-bit.

I would like to increase the Display Resolution rather than just decreasing the size of the Icons, Text Size, etc, you get the idea. This thread is about changing the Display Resolution only if at all possible.

I have already looked at => How to Change Screen Resolution of a Display in Windows 10 and the additional Tutorials at the bottom of the one stated.

I have looked on the Manufacturers website for any relevant updated drivers, but to NOT avail.

It's your display card driver that determines what resolutions you can use & hence which resolutions that list offers you.
- If you are not offered higher resolutions then I think it can only mean that your display card & its driver are not capable of any more.
- It's possible that you might be offered a higher resolution for an external monitor than for the normal one. I think I've seen that once.

You are of course quite right, but I just thought that I would throw this out there to see if anyone had a workaround or such like. To be honest, I am NOT expecting a workable solution, but you have to try these things sometimes.

I will hopefully be getting a new computer soon, so it is NOT worth laying out any money to upgrade the Latptop.

I think it is a question of what is available, if ANYTHING, but obviously as per Denis's post, and my research, it appears that I am flogging a dead horse.
