    6900xt Artifact or weak cable?

I game at 3840x2160 60hz on an LG Nanocell 55" With my Radeon stock speed 6900xt.
V-sync is turned off because I can get beyond 60fps without tearing thanks to Adrenaline software options.
We had a storm and I didn't turn off my rig in time so I'm a little afraid I damaged something.

During some games, maybe all but noticeably GTAV and Night Of The Dead, random chunks of the screen will be splotchy with lime green or pink like Shrek Sneezed all over it. It's only for a split second. I tried to capture it with the Xbox Game Bar app but the issue doesn't show up in the video.

I would test with another 4k uhd cable if I had one but all I have laying around are some old HDMI cables from the dollar store.

Well... I guess you should try with a dollar store HDMI cable, just as a troubleshooting step.
If the image improves... then go buy another cable of the type you currently use.

Be wary when buying special "deluxe" cables. I'd say 7 out of 10 are just overpriced regular cables.
No matter what type of cable we're discussing, this is always a possibility.

Generally, the best you can get are heavy gauge shielded cables.
The heavier the gauge, the less line loss or resistance.
The better the shielding... the less interference.

There's not much else you can do to improve a cable.

I tried them already. The Tv or the GPU didn't like them very well. I couldn't get a resolution higher than 1920x1080 which doesn't push the GPU to the same stress level to recreate the issue. Sure the games love it but I haaaate it. Almost feels like I'm back in the VHS era.

    Note my additions above.

With that in mind... ask LG and whoever made your vid card, what they recommend.... but buy from someone else.

In the past... I've found that these people give the best recommendations. The most truthful.
    Your One-Stop-Shop for Cables, Adapters, & More | C2G
These folks KNOW everything... about cables.
Line from Terminator: It's what they do. It's all they do.

Ask them for the model number of the cable they recommend... then search for that model number on Amazon for the best price. If budget isn't an issue, just buy it straight from C2G.
They won't "rip you off", but they aren't cheap.

You only really have two options. Swap out the cable, or swap out the vid card.
If neither helps (and you're sure it's a hardware issue)... then assume the power supply.

Just looking at your specs.... I assume you still have your previous vid card?

Keep this in mind... when comparing Nvidia and AMD vid cards... the AMD drivers are the worst, by far.
So you may want to try DDU and a fresh driver install as well.

    /edit

Well, I should also mention that your have to consider that the TV itself may be the problem.

I have a couple 4gig GDDR5 gpu's in storage I use to get by or test for video but I wouldn't want to game on those. If it weren't for the scalper prices I would've purchased a 3090. I've always bought Nvidia GPU's, this is the first AMD card I've ever owned. So I might switch sides again during tax returns.

As for the TV, I can never afford the highend stuff so I settle for middle of the road. I want to try purchasing a new cable and go from there.

It's been told by computer users that static electric generated by lighting can cause damage to computer.
If your problem exits after the lighting storm and did not go away, your computer might have been damage by the
lighting, verify the problem is not the computer by replacing with another cable.
