You should ask bobkn what to do with them.

The Windows 8 "drivers" should work. The important bits are an .inf file, and an .icm file.

If the monitor in question is the LG 27ea33 in your "My Computer", I failed to find drivers for it by Web search, for any OS.

I see, thanks. It's odd, they don't seem to be available on the the american or australian websites. Anyway, what should i do with the files, now when i have downloaded them?
Extract the .ZIP. Right click on the .INF file. Select "show more options". In the new window, click Install.

It will take no time at all. The files are small.

The monitor should now be named in Device Manager. In the Color Management control panel, you should be able to check "Use my settings for this device", and select the newly installed monitor profile as default.

I get a message that says the inf file you selected, does not support this method of installation. If i right click on the icc-profile and click on install profile, then nothing happens.

    Unzip the "driver file file"

Right click on the 27EA33.inf file, and click on install.

Nothing will appear to happen so you check by going to Colour Management.

    Add...
In the list under ICC Profiles should appear 27EA33.icm

Copy the 27EA33.icm file to C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color

Strange. That has always worked for me. I'm not clever enough to examine the .inf file to see what might be wrong with it.

The only other suggestion I can offer is to go to the monitor in Device Manager, and update the drivers there.
