Are the drivers on your system the same version as on your brothers? What other differences are there between the two systems?
If your card is running fine in his system, but now his card is crashing in yours then it is very unlikely to be a fault with the card, maybe a weak point with your system, power related, PCIe bus or maybe interference from a 3rd party driver?
If you have any RGB software running try disabling it, use Autoruns or a similar app to find and disable any SSD RGB drivers, I mentioned in my first reply that there is a particular RGB driver for SSDs known to cause crashes, whether a drive is present or not the driver is loaded, I believe it is an Aorus app which installs it.
Maybe doing some research on Nvidia's support site as to which conditions are most likely to cause the display driver to stop and recover, obviously it isn't a hard crash or instead of a CTD you would get a bluescreen or a frozen display etc.
These sort of issues tend to be a pain to resolve.
